NeighborHUB — Child Safety Standards

1. Our Commitment to Child Safety

NeighborHUB (the community app published on the Google Play Store under the developer name NeighborHUB, package com.NeighbourHUB) is committed to the safety and wellbeing of children. We operate with a zero-tolerance approach to any content, behaviour, or activity that harms or exploits minors. These Child Safety Standards apply to everyone who uses our app, including community members, committee members, and administrators.

2. Prohibition of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

This prohibition includes, but is not limited to:

• Any depiction, promotion, solicitation, or sharing of sexual abuse or sexual exploitation of minors;
• Sexual content involving minors, or content that sexualises minors in any way;
• Grooming, inappropriate contact with, or exploitation of minors;
• Seeking, arranging, or facilitating any sexual activity with minors;
• Links, instructions, or references intended to direct users to CSAE material.

Any such content or conduct is a violation of our standards, our Terms, and the law. We do not tolerate it under any circumstances and will take immediate action.

3. Our Response and Reporting Obligations

When we become aware of any content or conduct involving CSAE or the safety of a child, we will:

• Remove the offending content from our platform without delay;
• Suspend or permanently ban the responsible accounts;
• Report to the relevant authorities, including law enforcement, child protection agencies, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), and Google Play, as required by law and our policies;
• Cooperate fully with any investigation.

4. How to Report a Concern

If you see anything on NeighborHUB that concerns the safety of a child, please report it immediately:

• Use the in-app reporting features to flag content or a user.
• Contact our Child Safety Team by email (below).
• If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police or emergency services right away.
• You may also report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (CyberTipline) or your national reporting authority, and to Google Play.

These Child Safety Standards form part of NeighborHUB's broader policies and Terms of Service and apply to all users, content, and features of the NeighborHUB app. We review and update these standards regularly to ensure they remain effective and aligned with applicable law and best practice.
